Home Work

Number 4 in the series: Raiders of the found Art

Tattoo Jesus

This has an interesting story attached to it. I was driving by a church in Kansas City and noted that they had a pile of junk on the side of the road. On closer inspection I found this old print of the 'bearded one' sat in the dust! Unbelievable.
So I did some recycling of the work myself!
Mixed media. Old print and sharpie pen. 18"x12".

$750

Lovefuck

Another in the Raiders of the found art series. I found this Debbie Reynolds-Pat Boone album in a junk shop and it seemed perfect to hijack.

Mixed Media and ink.

Es against As

Found print with print block and ink.

Liam

My homage to the work of Andrew Wyeth. I really studied/admired the way he handled skin tones
and attempted to capture that technique here.
Acrylic on canvas. 2'x3'. $3000.

Blue Chair

This was an experimental piece. I wanted to play with lighting and
created the simple still life to achieve the look.
Acrylic on canvas. 36" x 40". $850.

Ultrameg1

I revisited my photo-realistic roots for this one. I wanted to capture a portrait of someone in an ultra-real manner.
Number 2 daughter (by age!)Meghan was my willing subject. I am at the stage of the painting where, even now, I'm not sure whether it's finished (or not).
I also tried using a lot more pencil in the finishing stages.
4' x 2' acrylic and pencil on masonite.
NFS (unless you want to pay me a few thou!)
